Chilliwack Ribfest is a mouth-watering community celebration held on the last weekend of July at Vedder Park in Chilliwack.

Note: Chilliwack Ribfest is hosted by the Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival (GVFTF). Other events hosted by the same organization are Food Truck Fest at UBC, Food Truck Wars in Cloverdale and Chilliwack Party in the Park, all of which take place in the spring. The food truck festival folk also host the White Rock Night Market once a month on a Friday between May and September.
Chilliwack Ribfest in the Fraser Valley
Presented by the Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival, Chilliwack Ribfest features a full lineup of BBQ vendors, food trucks, live entertainment and beer service. Now entering its third year, the festival brings together families, food lovers, and music fans for a weekend of great eats and summer vibes.
Chilliwack Ribfest Overview
Held in a local park, admission to Chilliwack RibFest is by donation with funds raised helping offset the costs of event as well as supporting local charities. Guests can enjoy live music, craft beverages, and food offerings from both rib vendors and local food trucks. The festival is designed for all ages, making it an ideal family-friendly destination.
Hours and Location
Chilliwack Ribfest usually takes place from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm on the Friday. Saturday hours are 11:00 am to 9:00 pm, and Sunday goes from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. The event is held at Vedder Park, located at 45450 Petawawa Road which isn’t far from the beautiful Chilliwack River. The park is about a 10-minute drive from Cultus Lake Provincial Park.
Admission Information
Entry to Chilliwack Ribfest is by donation. Tickets are available online in advance, or guests can simply show up and contribute at the gate. Proceeds support charitable initiatives in the community, including projects of the local Rotary Club.
Rib Vendors and Food Truck Lineup
Ribfest 2025 featured top-tier BBQ vendors including Rosies BBQ, Gator BBQ, Guerilla Q, Prairie Smoke & Spice, and Henry’s Outdoor BBQ. A variety of food trucks were also on-site, offering fries, hot dogs, cotton candy, mini donuts, ice cream, lemonade, potato twists and more. Popular returning trucks included Candy Cotton Candy, Street Dogs, Little Ooties Mini Donuts, Just Jerkin Around, Rolled West Coast, Original Potato Hurricane, and Candy’s Lemonade.
Live Entertainment at Ribfest
In addition to delicious food, Chilliwack Ribfest features a full weekend of live entertainment. DJs, musicians, and local performers take the stage, adding energy and excitement throughout the event. The entertainment lineup in 2025 included Lounge Hounds, Mood Therapy, Stan Giles Band, Andrew Michael Blues Band, and other artists.
